FAQ's

How much does it cost?
Admission is $5.00. Skate rental is $3.00.

Can I bring my own skates?
Yes. You would only pay the $5.00 admission.

Are Season Passes Available?
Yes--season passes will be available for purchase at WBT's Holiday on Ice for $45 per person.

Is there a limit to how long I can skate?
No. The admission is good for the entire day.

Can I leave and come back later that same day?
Yes. Just keep your admission ticket and you can return the same day.

What if I can't skate and just want to watch?
There are many areas available for you to watch in our in our "comfort zone" or in our "viewing area".

Can you explain what the waiver is that needs to be signed?
Everyone who skates must sign a waiver accepting a skate at your own risk policy. Children under the age of 16 must have an adult sign the waiver on their behalf.

Are there age restrictions for small children?
No. Children range in abilities. You should judge for yourself your own child’s ability.

If my child cannot skate, can I get a refund?
No. Unfortunately there is no way to identify or differentiate.

My child would like to skate but I can’t. Can I go on the ice with him/her?
No. No one is allowed on the ice without wearing skates.

Do you carry all sizes of skates?
Skates are available from children’s size 9 up to adult size 12. Skate sizes will not always match shoe sizes. Our employees will help you identify a size that’s right for you.

Do you have skates for both men and women?

All skates are unisex .

Do you sharpen skates?
Yes. There is a $5.00 fee to have your own skates sharpened.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash or check. ATM is located at the adjacent building.

Is Food and Beverage available?
Yes. A variety of food, soda, water and hot chocolate are available at the rink every day except Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. There is also a wide range of restaurants in the immediate area.

What type of clothing should I wear?
The ice rink is outdoors and therefore you should plan to dress warm enough to sustain being outside in the daily conditions. Socks, gloves and hats are recommended regardless of the conditions.

What is the comfort zone?
A special seating area equipped with portable heaters to keep you warm on the chilly nights!

Are there restrooms available?
Yes. However you cannot access them while wearing skates.

Can you accommodate larger groups?

Where can I park and how much will it cost?
Parking in the Green Parking Garage is most convenient. It can be accessed from Tryon St. or from College St. between Stonewall and 2nd St. Cost will vary but is reasonable. Monday – Friday during normal business hours you can receive a voucher with your admission ticket for $5.00 parking. Panther Game Days and other nights with large events will have higher rates.
